With the overarching theme “Unlocking Innovative Openness: Impetus to Greater Citizen Engagement”, the conference aims to reinvigorate commitments and tap the potentials from countries and communities to support wider application of openness, good governance and civic participation.
Founded by 8 countries, Brazil Indonesia, Mexico, Norway Philippines, South Africa, UK and the US, OGP was launched in 2011 to provide an international platform for domestic reformers committed to making their governments more open, accountable, and responsive to citizens. Since then, OGP has grown to currently 63 participating countries indicated on this map.
